The walk is 3.5 miles long and will take about 3 hours. Walkers should bring warm clothes because the temperatures can change dramatically. Binoculars are helpful.

There is no charge for the walk, over and above the normal park access fee which is $6.00 per car for non-anglers. However, if family members are fishing there is no additional charge for non-anglers. So if Mom and some of the kids don't want to fish they can take a hike.
